Re: “Opening Soon: Trainwreck Saloon

Why not have a Country bar on 4th? Country is the biggest genre of music in the country. You go the Moon and the Maverick and what do you see? Tons of U of A students. The new style country is very edgy and high energy. I think it will do well. Especially if you get a good bad in there. There might not be many bands like that around but I have heard the Maverick band is top notch. Haven't heard them since Its just way too far to drive. I will definitely check out 4th ave.

Re: “Jadi Norris: Thanks for My Favorite Range Comment (Possibly Ever)

R.Moreno is right. If you like a group, go support them. You are never going to make everyone happy. There are people who appreciate a variety and there are people who stick to one thing and will never open up to anything else. That's their choice. I do know that I went to the Maverick about a year ago on a Friday night and there was like 40 people there at 11:00 pm. Now? There is between 350-450 on a Friday night. There's gotta be a reason and I bet it's not the reason Jadi thinks. I now go there and that group is really good. Yea they play like maybe three cumbias a night. That's it! They also throw in a little motown. So 96% country is pretty good I must say. ALL the bands do it whether they throw in a classic rock tune or ladies night in there. It's all in good fun. Dancing, having a few cold ones and having a good time is what it's all about. I have met a couple of the guys from the Flipside band and they are extremely nice. No attitudes or ego's to speak of. Just good music. At one time I thought Jadi was very very good but I can't in good conscience even think about wanting to watch him perform after that rant on bands he probably has not even ever met before. Sad thing.

Re: “Glassman Rocks 'Sweet Home Arizona'

Jadi is so hateful. Maybe that's why he doesn't play in Tucson. I'm sure with that attitude he'll fail everywhere else too. Mama and Daddy should have gave him more hugs. Mama didn't raise that boy right. Now I know why people don't go see him. I never will and I'll be sure to spread the word. What a hater. I think he's mad because a better group took his place.

Re: “Jadi Norris: Thanks for My Favorite Range Comment (Possibly Ever)

I'm thinking this person left has some major anger issues or has been hurt by someone. So the only they can do is try to hurt everyone else. Seek some therapy and get on some Cookoo pills. For real. Just to set the story straight. I have personally seen Mr. Moreno fall off the stage many many times, and not from slipping. Oh and disappear for several songs while the rest of the group picks up the slack. Hmmm, great job? Certain groups get their jobs because they are liked. Maybe this person left because they just suck. Oh wow music here and there. So what. Who really cares? If your good your good regardless where you live or what you do. Let the public decide. The Maverick bands are amazing. Especially the guys that play Thursday and Friday. I've heard they are comprised of many of the top guys in town, not just in country but any genre. The play jazz, salsa, mexican, rock, old school and of coarse country and they do them all really well. I have never seen them fall off the stage or dissapear during a song. They are all very nice and are fun to watch and listen to. So for you. Jump of bridge and don't come back to Tucson because we don't want your hatefulness here.
