Re: “The Hungry Fox Restaurant and Country Store

I like the place, breakfasts are great but the last time I ordered keilbasa and eggs, it was prepared just fine and served well but I think though they could at least go with Hillshire farms keilbasa instead of a split Bar-S economy Polish.

Re: “Not The Greek Mafia

It's ok I guess, the folks from Minnesota, Iowa, Ohio etc., have to have someplace to eat.

Re: “No Ordinary Pie

Oh boy, sure hope the toppings include pineapple, kale and Brussel sprouts, and don't forget bbq chicken! What's this proscutto stuff anyway?

Re: “People Who Died: Merle Haggard by Hank Topless

I made a comment on the article about Leonard Cohen and how his song "The Partisan" makes me cry, the "Hags" "Farmer's Daughter" also breaks me down every time.

Re: “People Who Died: Leonard Cohen by Howe Gelb

There are a handful of songs that always bring a tear to my eye, "The Partisan" is probably numero uno.

Gee Serene, your future as an entertainment critic are boundless. With talent like yours, by this time next summer you might be critiquing patriotic 4th of July parade marches in places like Albuquerque or even Omaha. John Phillip Sousa, Watch out!

Re: “Total Makeover

Great article, well written and informative! I mostly cling to the old days in Tucson. Back in the late '70's, Putneys, Al Smith's and the bar at Cliff Manor was a hang out of sorts for folks that worked in the restaurant/bar biz on the northwest side of town. Lotta fun, lotta booze, lotta memories. I'll visit the "new" place next time I'm in T-Town. Good luck to them!
