David, as a trans man who's been using the appropriate restroom for almost 20 years now, I appreciate your support. I do, however, wish the media would stop referring to "restrooms of their choice." They are in truth "restrooms appropriate to their identity" just as they are for everyone else. Despite the F that was originally on my birth certificate, it's not a choice for me to use the men's room, it is simply appropriate. Trans men are men and trans women are women. Implying it's a choice is not helpful to moving society forward on understanding gender identity. Thanks for your consideration. (PS Same is true for "preferred pronouns". They're just pronouns. Which pronouns do you use?)

PROP 122 is as ridiculous as SB 1062 was. So who gets to decide if it's "unconstitutional"? Last I heard, that was up to the courts, not the statehouse, to decide.

Congratulations to Joe and to CODAC for making the bold move and investing in the health of the LGBTQ community. LOL will be the first LGBTQ health clinic in this part of the country! Once again, Tucson proves itself to be the state's leader in equality. It can't open soon enough!

Despite honorable work in the community, historically speaking, Wingspan has had more than it's share of human resources fumbles. I feel badly for the folks who lost their jobs, and I'm concerned about what the next chapter in Wingspan's story is going to look like. I think we all have our fingers crossed...

Robert - being transgender is not a "lifestyle". It's a life. You don't get to pick--it just is. Who would choose to be hated and discriminated against and often assaulted or even killed for being yourself? There is a compelling reason people transition. Get over your self-righteousness. Live and let live. You don't get to decide what is right for someone else.
