Fore Gone Conclusion
After an afternoon of golfing at the ritzy La Paloma Country Club (3800 E. Sunrise Drive), real-estate hustler Gary Triano climbed into his car to head home to a birthday party on November 1, 1996. But first, he opened a box of cigars that had appeared on the passenger seat, activating a bomb that blew him across the parking lot. Triano had racked up so many enemies over a lifetime of making sleazy deals that investigators had 637 leads when they began their investigation. The crime remains unsolved.
