"Miracle Mile" and its iconic neon were important to Tucson's tourist economy before Interstate 10 was built. This event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 30, shows how the strip is coming back to life. Several tours and related talks cover the past and future of the area, including Evergreen Cemetery. Shuttle service is provided to and from College Place, where illustrated lectures, music, refreshments and children's activities take place all day. Free.
