Experience a group exhibition of Tucson artists' personal and current Ex Votos at the Contreras Gallery and Jewelry, 110 E. 6th Street. An ex voto is an object or painting left as an offering to fulfill a gratitude or vow for recovery from an injury or illness. The exhibition starts Saturday, Aug. 6 with an exhibition from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will continue through Aug. 27. Visit the gallery to see current and contemporary ex votos by local artists like Lucia Bigalow, Marcy Miranda, Hector Perez, Carolyn Sotelo and more.
