SSVEC is no longer a Cooperative. It does not listen to it's customers, but moves ahead with big plans for selling lots of coal fired energy in the future. External costs (pollution, etc) never cross their minds - heck the Cooperators can pay for it. Line loss - which is the cost for power lost in delivery of this electricity - this doesn't bother them either. The Cooperators can pay for it. Just like this unnecessary line, that their own study showed was not necessary, the Cooperators can pay for it. This is a very badly managed company that should go the way of the telegraph and out of business. Renewable Energy produced in local areas is the future - this is going to happen - no matter what companies like this do to stop it. They are just trying to cash in while they can on whatever they can - and the Cooperators can pay for it!
