Re: “TucsonWeekly.com Contributor Bills KOLD for Ripping Off His Work

I just heard back from they and they are going to pay me. I've also suggested they update the web story making it clear where the video came from.

Re: “Media Watch

I have three thoughts.

1) Where are the independent media people on your list? Self promotional plug @TucsonVelo (1,785 followers)

2) The number of twitter followers you have is no where near as important as how many quality twitter followers you have. It's easy to get lots of followers. All you do is follow a bunch of people. Do they care about what you are saying? Probably not.

Again the number is meaningless if they aren't paying attention to you. Probably a better metric is to know how many people have put the twittterer into a list. People follow their lists. Their full feed? Not so much.

3) Don't overlook Facebook. I have fewer Facebook likes (1,208) but they are for more engaged and care more about the community.

Re: “Stopping At Red Lights Is For Liberals

Why am I not surprised he has a lifted-gas-guzzling truck and is driving on the white line of the bike lane?

Would be curious to find out if he was on his cell phone. I'm thinking it's likely.
