Re: “Three for the Money

we are acting as a small town when we are a mid size city dirt side walks and grant rd have been talked about for 10 yrs. The busses need to run extended hours for 2nd and 3rd shift workers the car industry loves a poor transit system so people that can not afford to buy a car have to ,to get to and from work, The jails are not holding cells for the mentally ill. Non violent crimes do not call for high speed chases when officers can call for assistance. The right to work state was suppose to stimulate business all it did was deflate the wages of the working poor.We need elders to move here to stimulate building and business our children education is poor and a conversation is all about nothing without education. The cities needs are not in accordance with the size of the city We are a mid size city not a small town . Transit to Phoenix is important and it,s not there .Lets be a city of desire

Re: “Poutine Coming to 4th Avenue in August

when the downtown development was earlier on did they have a model to follow ? this looks like hit or miss the Buffalo Exchange high priced second hand clothes says people don,t buy clothes downtown . that must of been careless research of what do we the people want downtown not what the city council wants for downtown . we can not afford to shop for the dollar in hard times understated, with what is not developing downtown . the santa monica mall flourishes . a model of success are we still living in cowboy times the population dictates we are not a small town ..buses stop running at night so night shopping without a car is a zero . 3rd shift commutes by public transportation is a zero . the people are either not voicing what they,d like or are burnt out over rio nuevo all together .
