Re: “Winners Take All

Having been emboldened, trolls and ogres are truly legion these days. It appalls me that so many have bought into the lies of charlatans made loud by ignorance. We can only hope, David, that most who read your words actually think, reason and infer the wealth of your argument as greater than the lucre so coveted by the few and lauded by the unimaginative. If not, our story, as a species, may yet be unavoidably foreshortened. I give it even odds.

Re: “Our Spoiled State Firing and Hiring System

Unfortunately this is "business as usual" for Douchey and his cronies, "all for one and one for himself!" is their byline. It will be a wonder if Arizona can survive their malfeasance!

Re: “Ducey 'Next Step' Watch: Day 89. "No More Reading Tea Leaves" Edition

Douchey only looks at the bottom line, what he and his cohorts can make on any deal -- get them out!

Re: “Grijalva: Supreme Court's 'Non-Decision' on Immigration Executive Actions Leaves Vulnerable People Suffering

It never ceases to amaze me how ignorance abounds. Why do people come here? We ask them to! We invite them! We give them more money than they can get in their homeland and enough in fact that they can send money home. That applies to even the oft-stated hated druglords; would they be here if there wasn't money to be made?

No, this non-decision only hurts the people we really want to be here. Those who come to work, live, grow and become an integral part of our communities. It only hurts those who contribute to our society and does nothing to stop the abuses. The Republicans got just what they intended by stalling the vote on Obama's nominee. They pandered to the fear and achieved nothing positive for the United States. It is a vote for greed and exploitation over true prosperity and growth.

Re: “What Happened at Tuesday's Classrooms First Initiative Council Meeting?

I am not surprised that Duchey or his office have not responded to this. They have no intention of working with any committees to shift monies around effectively in the name of education. They don't need no stinking committees! Their agenda was set in cold stone when Dougless was elected. This is only about maximizing the revenue that can be acquired by stripping the state of any opportunities for real public education. Make no mistake, this administration has no interest in educating the public.

Re: “I Got It Wrong When I Defended Sanchez's Contract/Salary Package

I have been willing to give Sanchez the benefit of the doubt based upon some of the good things I have seen but this is indefensible! Teachers get maybe $500 a year ( their first raise in at least five years) and he takes home some $75 K? I'm sorry but this represents inequity bordering on a criminal scale!

Re: “Some Thoughts on Ducey's School Funding Proposal

Douchey has only one goal in mind: privatize as much as possible in this state to allow for him and his cronies to maximize their earning as much as possible. He is not even trying to hide his agenda. The quality of the product maters not at all to him, it is all flash to maximize cash! He is a disaster. I cannot believe I am about to say this this but Douchey makes me long for a return of One Finger Jan to the Governor's office. I think I am going to puke now. God save Aridzona, obviously we, the people, can't!
