Vince Vaughn and John Favreau, the team that brought us the charming Swingers, returns for their second outing as co-producers with an entirely new genre: the annoying film. Vaughn plays Ricky, the world's most annoying low-level gangster, and Favreau plays Bobby, his pal whose job it is to look annoyed. This probably does not involve a lot of acting, because Ricky manages to annoy not only other characters in the film, but also the real-life, flesh-and-blood people who inhabit what Hollywood types like to call "the audience." If you think you have the emotional detachment to sit through this kind of thing, by all means go see Made, as it's witty and well-acted. Still, it may be a living testament as to why no one has ever attempted to make a film whose main intent is not to entertain, scare or sadden, but rather to bother, irritate and annoy.
