Learn about the efforts to preserve the Tohono O'odham language at Tucson's Museum of Contemporary Art (265 S Church Ave.) on Thursday, Feb. 18 at 6 p.m. Ofelia Zepeda, a UA Regents' Professor of Linguistics at and recipient of the MOCA Local Genius Award, will speak on the subject. Tickets are $15 for non-members. Admission includes beer, wine, and snacks. Go to moca-tucson.org.
