Local and Oregonian Bands

If you're looking for a hip, intimate show that welcomes all age groups, head over to Skrappy's Tucson Youth Collective, 191 E. Toole Ave., on Saturday, March 14, from 8 to 11 p.m. Local bands Sun Bones and Katterwaul will be joined by fellow indie groups Summer Cannibals and Grandparents. Sun Bones, Katterwaul, and Grandparents all have a slow, base-driven alternative sound that promises a more low-key performance. Summer Cannibals, while not as musically talented as the other bands, will bring a faster and heavier rock element to the mix. Tickets are $5. Doors open at 7:30. There's more info on the event's Facebook page.
