Dubbed the unofficial after party for the Tucson Festival of the Books, Cyberspunk is similarly dedicated to promoting literature, albeit with an adult twist. On Saturday, March 14, at 8 p.m., Book Club Burlesque will host a literary extravaganza at Maker House, 283 N. Stone Ave. The celebration is themed after "Neuromancer," a science fiction classic with clashes between humanity and machine. There will be installation and performance art, projections, DJ sets, a main stage vaudeville-style variety show, and black light dance party. Attendees are encouraged to participate by reading the book and dressing up in their sexiest and most creative "Neuromancer" inspired costumes. A limited quantity of tickets are available online at an $8 to $20 pay-what-you-can sliding scale. Guests must be 21+. More information can be found at the event's Facebook page.
