Calling one party an "Asshat" and describing another as a saint certainly polarizes and simplifies issues; it makes one side virtuous and the other nuts. But, in reading this article and numerous. other one dimensional, emotional blah, blah, blah's reminds me of an old protest song from the 60's describing conflicting parties as carrying signs that mostly read "Hooray for our side." But what are the specifics? What are the issues at hand? Are we reasoning adults, working towards solving issues that are important to our society or noisy airheads shouting "Hooray for our side"? This is a question core to the survival of any "free" society, should it wish to remain free.
