The Sonoran Glass School Fourth of July Party is Saturday, from 5 to 10 p.m. at 633 W. 18th St. According to the good folks of SGS, glass is America's first industry, so you can help celebrate that fact by cooling down with a water balloon fight, watching glassblowing demos, creating glass art projects in the studio, enjoying grub from Brushfire BBQ, seeing the 33rd Boro Platoon's veterans in action and seeing the A Mountain fireworks.
