I sometimes wonder if we shouldn't make people get licenses to read and write. Over half of the things I say are nothing more than my own form of literary garden ornamentation. I often think I should not speak more than I could listen. I would like to go back to school and travel, collecting cultural impressions and saving them through photography and sketches, notes and recipes. I am an illustrator and dreamer and hope to produce a book or two someday regarding some of my most treasured subjects, inspiration and perseverance through kindness.

Re: “Wil Taylor

His work is consistently balanced and directed within, where the soul speaks. His simple well thought out paterns and use of abstract color allow symbolic gestures of spiritual depth with the omni present reality of closed lids, suggesting mortality and our shared imperfectly perfect human state.

Re: “Best Specialty Foods

Even with the great location and assortment of deli items, produce and meats, it is fairly over priced in most areas. And I felt the deli case was neglected as in they don't stir the items or keep them looking as fresh or as presentable as they could. I still go there though and like that I can find hard to find imported foods that are impossible to find other places. Roma Imports (Italian import store and deli on Vine and 16th) has a better selection of Bread, meats and cheese and oils but it is such a drive!
