Senator McCain is shucking his responsibility and playing irresponsible partisan politics. McCain has no idea who will be submitted for the SCOTUS seat, yet he thinks it's OK to say just say no all those submitted for review no matter how qualified they may be or their foundation. It's really high time to vote for McCain's opponent.

So County Supervisor Sharon Bronson shows up for an interview with Jim Nintzel of the Weekly. Sharon's interview is cordial and informative. The same goes for District 1 candidate John Winchester. Good going John :-)

So where is incumbent Ally Miller? No interviews to the Weekly? I guess she considers The Weekly, The AZ Daily Star and The Sentinal as "corrupt" media outlets along with her fellow board members or Mr. Huckleberry. Ally Miller lacks the guts to take on a cordial and legitimate interview with Jim Nintzel. Why? Because Jim's honesty and questioning may be just too hard for her to bear. "Uhhh....I have to leave now for an appointment"

    Chuckles,

If you managed a budget exceeding 1 billion dollars a year and did that successfully for a few decades...what would you expect to be paid? Are the taxes that you pay excessive? Maybe you can cite specific instances of financial mismanagement on the part of Pima County?

Just more hot air, baseless accusations. Is Chuckles ... Ally Miller?

As a County Supervisor and public servant, exactly what part of Ally Miller's activities (or that of her staff) are so sensitive that records obtained from her office for public disclosure will require review and redaction?

How did Ally Miller's office arrive at the $1600 (extortion) fee? Normally, if there are fees, they are justified as reimbursement for the cost of employee's time spent obtaining the records and for the cost of reproduction.

the period should not be construed as annoyed as the period just represents the conclusion of the message just conveyed as the lack of punctuation and capitalization really makes it difficult to comprehend the meaning of a bunch of meandering run-on sentences

This whole multi-part saga regarding impersonation of a ficticious "Jim Falken" really made my head hurt.

If DesJarlais is truly the "editor" of the AZ Daily Herald, he should take the time to prepare an article regarding AZ Daily Herald's journalistic ethics standards.

    MEET THE EDITOR
Timothy DesJarlais is the current managing editor of The Arizona Daily Herald.

This whole saga about who is faking identities of "Jim Falken" really made my head hurt. Understanding Ally Miller's behavior also makes my head hurt. Being a press aide for a politician and operating an "online new site" crossed the boundary of journalism ethics. Truthfulness, accuracy and objectivity make up necessary elements of the journalism ethics standard. It's kind of hard to be impartial and objective when you are issuing press releases from the "other side of the fence" while at the same time "reporting the news".
