This Hispanic Oceans Eleven (in Spanish with English subtitles) offers nothing new to the crime-caper genre, but its entertaining because of its fun and charismatic energy. Miguel Varoni and Fernando Colunga co-star as two crooks who team up to outfox an infomercial chief who sells bogus productsfrom miracle bracelets to high-performance cream for mento the ignorant poor. Real-life day laborers play the day laborers who help the mischievous duo crash the corrupt entrepreneurs party and make off with the gold stashed in his basement. Director Joe Menendezs whimsy helps make this a delightful movie-going experience, even if it is obvious and predictable.
