Kickoff Season 20

Reveille Men's Chorus kicks off their season

Cocktails and karaoke with the guys from Reveille Men's Chorus? Yes, please.

On Sunday, Aug. 17, from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Red Room at Hotel Congress, 311 E. Congress St., chorus members want Tucson to help them celebrate their 20th season. But this isn't just a celebration—if you or friends or family have always been interested in singing with the chorus, this is a great time to meet members and learn about joining.

Reveille began in 1995 as a gay men's community chorus. Its mission, under the leadership of artistic director Shawn Cullen, has grown from a community performance institution to a public health focus on HIV/AIDS awareness, education and prevention.

Besides current and prospective members at the Kickoff Season 20 event, chorus alum are encouraged to join the celebration. There will be a raffle, but don't forget your favorite song for karaoke.

The season kickoff continues on Monday, Aug. 18, from 7 to 10 p.m. at Rincon Congregational Church, 122 Craycroft Road. Every Monday night, there is a standing invite to come sing with Reveille.

For more information on the chorus, call 304-1758, visit reveillemenschorus.org or email info@reveillemenschorus.org.
