Re: “Hidden Agenda?

Ridiculous. Nothing furthermore than the fear of the state of Arizona becoming diverse. Sonoran Science Academy is an EXCEPTIONAL school. As stated earlier, I have attended this school and been involved with many different activities. I've attended this school with mady students from different cultural backgrounds. I do have to say, that if this was true in any sense, I, myself, would have been approached by a supporter. I believe in many different aspects of the world and am completely unbiased when it comes to different cultural views. To see an renowned paper publish such extraordinary fiction is proposterous. I advise everyone one of these believers to do one thing: Attend the school. It is mind boggling that so many people are still so closed minded. I support this school 100%. I have no doubt that SSA alumus and many other students, including myself, will stand up proudly for this school.

And as for the comment about the Turkish Olympiad: many students from different schools attend such competitions. Just like how many Hispanic and other nationalities students participate in ESL. And many other students participate in competitions of different languages: French, Italian, Spanish, etc. Does this mean they are linked to the Italian Mafia, Zapatistas, or any other groups? Answer me that.

Re: “Hidden Agenda?

You know, it is pretty sad that you can judge this school so harshly because of a person's speculations. Have any of you been to the school? Have any of you ever sat down in a class, whether it be Robotics to Turkish? No. I highly doubt that. I attended Sonoran Science Academy for the past seven years of my life. I have never once, been approached from any person involved with the school in regards to the Gulen government. I am a proud student of this school. I have particicpated in many Oratorical Contests because I had the oppurtunies not given to many other schools. If you would feel so inclined, then go to the school yourself and see the environment. It is an outrageous accusation, one founded solely because many of the teachers were not born on American Soil. It's sad, that many people are closed minded about a school having a diverse culture.
