Re: “Senate Showdown

The contrast between Todd Camenisch and Frank Antenori could not be more striking...one is a moderate centrist Democrat who seeks to find common sense solutions to the overwhelming problems currently facing our state; the other is a blowhard egocentric demagogue who spends his time manufacturing silly attention-getting controversies such as light bulb freedom (!!) and keeping cable TV away from welfare recipients (so stupid he couldn't get a hearing or any fellow supporters). The choice is clear- we need intelligent, thoughtful people like Todd Camenisch representing us and working in good faith to solve the problems our state faces. People don;t like egocentrics and know-it-alls like Frank Antenori and he will (hopefully) find that out on November 2nd.

Re: “Races to Watch

I am strongly opposed to the reelection of Frank Antenori. He has only distrust and contempt for government yet has spent most of his adult life drawing a salary from government dollars- in the military and as a Raytheon employee, and now as a state legislator. Irony, anyone? His contempt for the rights of women in Arizona was best exemplified by his comment in reference to the legislation restricting abortion: “There is a duty to protect either our wives or our daughters from making decisions that may come back to haunt them further down the road in their lives. “
Women do not need "protection" in 2010- our bodies are our own and we have the right to do with them what we choose. Send this neanderthal back to the cave from which he came and send a reasonable candidate like Todd Camenisch to Phoenix.
