Re: “Classroom Battle

Unlike some UA students who enter my classroom and just want to get a degree to get a job, the students who come from Ethnic Studies to UA are exceptional in comparison. These Ethnic Studies students (including some white students) are eager and ready to question and learn. They are engaged, hard-working, and they are thoughtful, critical thinkers. They actually do their homework without complaint and never offer excuses. They do not show up to class hung-over from all-night parties. Instead, they pull all-nighters to read, research, and write. I offer my grateful thanks to all their teachers. No matter how difficult the fight is to save Ethnic Studies at TUSD, it's worth it because you are literally saving lives and training tomorrow's leaders.

Regarding the UAMA's director, the Emperor wears no clothes.
