Directors Heidi Ewing and Rachel Grady (The Boys of Baraka) created this documentary about a fundamentalist Christian ministry that programs children with a wild set of lies and neuroses: Global warming is fake; George W. Bush is a great Christian leader; the Bible is literally true; and if you yell at God loudly enough, he’ll save some unborn fetuses. I’d love to see a documentary about Christians who were humble, meek and in favor of peace, but until that group takes control of the government, it makes sense to see films like Jesus Camp, which detail the depths of depravity to which the fundamentalist movement will sink. Plus, you’ll get to witness what may be the worst mullet ever sprouted. Horrifying!
