PVK and skinnyman have certainly never lived on a producing ranch and had to put up with all the crap the United States of America Government can lay on ranchers today. The government under which the ranchers live today is the greatest enemy they have faced to date, or will have to in the future. Actually, the government is slowly shutting down all ranching and farming. Those idiots in Washington actually believe that beef and grain comes from cans imported from China so there is no need for ranchers and farmers. I don't give a damn what their color is or whether they are democrats or republicans, they are all the worst kind of fools. The politicians today will destroy this country if something isn't done to get people with honesty and common sense to replace them.

They dig up the soil, build a trench, put in long lengths of pipe, fill in the trench, and in six months the area looks as though it had never been touched. What's all the commotion about? The birds don't care, the animals don't care, and the illegals don't follow pipe lines to find their way across the border. The only ones who pretend to care are the usual anti-social troublemakers and complainers. Yeah, I grew up on a huge ranch and they built a pipeline across our land. Took them three months to lay the line in, and about nine months for the land to return to nature (we have better soil in Texas and it takes a little longer to adapt.) We didn't lose a horse or steer, nor a night's sleep.

Kay Sullivan isn't qualified to be President of this great school, or any other school from the first grade up. If she were qualified, she would have told those idiot wannabe parents to take their money and stick it where the sun doesn't shine. . . .

If I were running for the office of Vice President of the United States, I wouldn't wash more than one dish either. Hire Obama to wash the rest. I assume that Obama could do that simple thing without making a mistake. Well, maybe not. He'd just throw them in the trash and order Congress to buy a new set of dishes.

Who? Jessie Kelly? Oh, isn't he the guy whose campaign staff members were telling seniors that they were not "authorized to volunteer" in his campaign. I've heard several of the older generation complaining about the manner in which their offers were rejected.

Someone up above mentioned Jessie Kelly. Isn't that the fellow who's campaign staff are telling people who volunteer their services that, "We don't want your help. You're not authorized to volunteer." That's happened to several people around the area lately.

I voted for Jessie Kelly the first time he ran, and later met him and said that I would vote for him a second time. However, when I attempted to volunteer to help his present campaign, via an e-mail form developed by his committee, I received a rather curt and rude response stating that I "was not authorized to volunteer" my services in his cause. Since that insulting refusal, I have decided to vote for another person running for the same office, and have strongly suggested that relatives and friends do the same. Incidentally, when inquiring of members of his committee as to whom should "authorize" me, no one would give me a direct answer, as if no one knew.
