International Migratory Bird Day
Exploration of the renowned Madera Canyon bird habitat is free, except at Bog Spring Campground, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, May 4, at the Whitehouse Picnic Area. Birding and nature hikes, representatives of local nature-education and conservation organizations, children's interactive activities, a live reptile program, natural history displays and lunch by Outlaw BBQ take place all day.
