Illegitimate Theatre Ensemble
On Feb. 25, 1545, a troupe of comic actors in Padua, Italy, signed legal documents to become the first incorporated theater company. The date is commemorated as Commedia dell'Arte Day. To celebrate, UA faculty and students, and professional actors and musicians don masks and perform music at noon, Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Alumni Plaza on the UA Mall, and at 2 p.m. at the Rogue Theatre, 300 E.
