Hunger Action Month
The Community Food Bank's Hunger Walk 2013 takes place in five locations on Saturday, Sept. 28; $10, $5 for ages 12 and younger including a shirt, free for ages 12 and younger with no shirt. Registration is at 8 a.m., and step-off at 9 a.m., at Kino Sports Complex, North Grand Stand No. 5, 2500 E. Ajo Way, Tucson; and at Sopori Elementary School, 5000 W. Arivaca Road, Amado. Registration is at 4 p.m. and step-off at 5 p.m., at Pierson Vocational High School, 451 N. Arroyo Blvd., Nogales. Registration is at 7 a.m., and step-off at 8 a.m., at Crossroads at Silverbell District Park, 7548 N. Silverbell Road, Marana; and at La Posada, 350 E. Morningside Road, Green Valley.
