Maricopa-based Sugaray Rayford is a man with a message and a voice with which to deliver it. The larger-than-life personality will celebrate the release of his new album, “Human Decency,” at the Hotel Congress Plaza Stage. So far, the collection has spawned the song “Run for Cover,” dubbed a “powerhouse single.” The title track followed with its classic Stax sound. An all-star cast lent its talents to the album — guitarist Rick Holmstrom and singer Saundra Williams, both of whom are from Mavis Staples’ band; and bassist Taras Prodaniuk (Lucinda Williams, Merle Haggard).
