Historical Tour of Tucson Botanical Gardens

A tour focuses on the family life of Bernice and Rutger Porter, early Tucson gardeners whose property was the foundation of the Tucson Botanical Gardens, at 10 a.m., the third Thursday, every month. The tour also covers the historical significance of the property, and little-known garden spots. Free with admission: $8; $4 child age 4 to 12; free member or child younger than 4. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., daily.
