Growing Orchids and Butterfly Taxonomy
Emily Rockey, curator of horticulture, leads a hands-on workshop on orchid care and maintenance, from 10 a.m. to noon, Sunday, Sept. 16; $20, $15 member, includes a small orchid to take home. Also on Sunday, Sept. 16, Elizabeth Willott, curator of Butterfly Magic, discusses classification, its history and consequences, from 2 to 4 p.m.; $14, $10 member.
