Get Us New Year's Stuff!

December is the official Special Issues Month here at Weekly World Central.

On Dec. 8--that's next week, yo--we'll be publishing our GASP! last-minute gift guide insert. Then, on Dec. 15, we'll banish all the people, places and things we dislike from Tucson in our annual Get Out of Town! edition. After acting like raging assholes that week, we'll karmically redeem ourselves on Dec. 22 with our annual Local Heroes edition. Finally, on Dec. 29, Leo W. Banks and Jim Nintzel will do their humorous and oddly disturbing year-in-review feature.

One new thing we're doing is especially worth noting, because we need your help. On Dec. 22, we'll publish a special New Year's guide. Our goal is to make it as comprehensive of a guide to Southern Arizona New Year's happenings as possible. But here's the rub: We'll need all the information for this special supplement hella early--say, around Dec. 10. (We'll have regular New Year's coverage in the Dec. 29 issue, too, but if you have a New Year's happening, you'll want it included in the New Year's guide--trust me.) As with all listings and event coverage in the Weekly, inclusion is free, but not guaranteed. Here's what to do ...

· For restaurant/dining-related events, e-mail Karyn Zoldan at noshing@tucsonweekly.com.

· For club/music events, e-mail Stephen Seigel at musiced@tucsonweekly.com.

· For all other events, e-mail Irene Messina at listings@tucsonweekly.com.

· If you're not sure what category a New Year's event falls under, e-mail me, at the address below. Thanks in advance for getting us this stuff early, and for making the upcoming New Year's guide positively spiffy.
