Galactic Center Portal Activation
An intimate venue with sound chambers, cave and temple structures for meditation and a variety of activities involving spiritual connections, opens from Saturday, Feb. 1, and continues through Tuesday, Feb. 11. Hours are 7 p.m. to 2 a.m., daily; $5. The event features a "visionary gallery" by Tribe13, art by Alex and Allyson Grey, Gem and Jam after-hours parties, a concert by R. Carlos Nakai, live art by resident artists Steven Eye and Kati Astraeir, tea ceremonies, a Rainbow Portal Project by Jarrod Parker, friction and immersion sound activations by the Gong Temple, dance performances, yoga classes and a healthy snack bar.
