We also ate recently at the Sawmill Run. Found the smoked meats (brisket and even the ribs) to be outstanding. The Mac and cheese we received was cold, as well as the ribs, but the rib sauce was outstanding, as well as the fried corn. Would try it again, however, we also found service very spotty (as above reviewer did also). Seems they get out of sync when a larger party comes in w/o reservations (as did when we were there). All in all, we would go back, as the meats are really good, just need some work in the kitchen area to verify food has actually been cooked to temperature.

    Re: “Casino Cuisine
Been there, had the exact same experience/almost the same food ordered for (2). Their biggest problem we have found after 2 visits was the inconsistancy. One time, steak awesome, next time, lamb was all bone. Agree with the Manhattan...best I've ever had! Now that said, the service in our case was at best mediocre. One time, never saw the waiter, and again this is back in December..no offer of the souffle either! And again in January, waitress never came back to see how we were doing, and I specifically asked for wine with dinner. Never came back to get my order. We won't be back, for a $120 meal for 2..just not worth the risk.

    Re: “An to Something
Someone absolutely spent time on the decor of this place. It's really nice. And the service seems to have improved. Our problem was with the food quality vs price. Party of 2, ordered 1 sakitini (wow, was that great), 1 hot tea, 1 hot and sour soup (neither hot nor sour), and 2 tappan dinners of scallops and filet. Now, the scallops were cooked to perfection (small but good). The filet on the other hand....now really, it couldn't have been filet, really? It was so tough, that a good quality steak knife couldn't have cut it. We literally shred the meat with our teeth, and the meat was cooked to a med-rare. It just seemed like the meals were full of fillers (ie., rice, noodles, vegetables), and for the price, we were expecting a feast. For $82 plus tip, it wasn't worth it. We'll skip this place next time until the food quality matches the prices. Mr An, please up your quality to match the price, and we'll be glad to return.

    Re: “French Dip
Anybody know what's going on with Le Delice? It opened in 2001, changed hands in 2006 (ish), then changed hands again in 2009, then went "under"? And now is opening again under the original owners which had problems before? Anybody else suspicious of the real intentions here? And if they are really trying to 'pull the wool' over our eyes? In the recent past, their bread was really bad (better at grocery stores, which is strange, since they used to pride themselves on their bread), and their in-house food, not so fresh..... Just wondering if we'll have a pastry shop, or another dive that can't even cook eggs.
