Come celebrate biodiversity with the Sky Islands Alliance this Tuesday, Sept. 15 from 6 to 9 p.m., for a night of food, fun and entertainment at La Cocina (201 N. Court Ave.). Poet Jefferson Carter will read some nature lovin' poetry during the event which includes a silent auction and a native trees sale. The event is free to the public, with a portion of food and drink sales going to benefit SIA, which studies and preserves the biodiversity between the many mountain ranges of Arizona.
