I thought this was a stupid idea from the start, considering we could have purchased 394 buses for the same money, and considering there's nothing steel wheels on rails can do that rubber on pavement can't. But, that said...
If we have to have tracks, then I am at a complete loss as to why the traffic lights haven't been set up to grant right of way to the choo choo trains. Seriously, why wasn't this done? If this isn't going to be done, then there is literally no point whatsoever in the permanency of the tracks...none.
I am equally confused as to why this doesn't go all the way to the football stadium.
I listen to a lot of SiriusXM these days because I can't stand the once-great KFMA's changes, mostly the seemingly 50 minutes of commercials per hour. So, this one got by me until today when I tried to turn on my radio at work.
I am on 102.1, and I'm hearing a little bit of Green Day and A LOT of static. I work by the airport, BTW...hardly a remote location.
