Fit Fest 2016

Come check out a wild evening of fitness classes, wellness checks, and heath vendors at the annual Zoo Fit Fest. Hosted at the at Reid Park Zoo (3400 E. Zoo Court), the Fit Fest will raise awareness for the zoo and help families experience new types of fitness. The event will have two DJs and fitness classes taught by licensed instructors in subjects ranging from Zumba to yoga to Capoeira. There will be special classes for both children and seniors. The event will be held Saturday, March 5, from 5 to 8 p.m. Proceeds raised from the event will go toward a new Animal Health Center for the zoo animals. Pre-sale tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children. Tickets will be $25 at the door. Visit reidparkzoo.org for tickets.
