Festival Day of Science Fun

Join the Tucson Hebrew Academy for their 2nd Annual Community STEM Festival on Sunday, April 3, a free day packed full of science for the whole family. Explore more than 50 hands-on exhibits and activities in fields ranging from biology and physics to astronomy and robotics. Friendly reptiles, insects, animals, and birds of prey will also be in attendance. Bring the whole family to learn about  NASA's OSIRIS-REx mission and observe rocket launches and a chemistry magic show, drone demonstrations and take a glimpse at the sun through solar telescopes. Visit the tree ring lab, the giant meteorite collection and the exhibit on the science of forensics. The event will happen from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Tucson Hebrew Academy Campus just east of the Jewish Community Center (3888 E. River Road.). For more info, visit jewishtucson.org.
