Food, inconsistent. Breakfast early in the morning-terrific. Atmosphere-crusty. Coffee-the best. Cockroaches-I thought they were the pets! Anyway, right after it closed, I was invited inside, got a free beer and took the last shots of the grill.

    Re: “Images Left Behind
Louis Bernal did not have the luxury of a long lifespan to take extensive numbers of photographs. The few that are available are worth looking at. However, THAT is the very problem. The Gallery named after him at PCC rarely if ever displays Louis Bernal's images and even if it does, the netsite for the gallery is outdated and provides little incentive to visit with its weird hours. As for other galleries in Tucson, the exhibits of photography overall is quite limited, and getting worse. Whoever is in charge of Louis Bernal's treasure trove of images should be urged to have more frequent exhibits, or do a better job of managing (them). Better go see them at the Gallery, it might be MANY years before you have another chance

    Re: “The Creative Class
Like all businesses, art galleries come and go, some have a life span of a month maybe, and others longer. What makes a gallery go is the clientele and presenting works and items that people like and that can sell. Other galleries in the same area have done better, while others have quietly gone..To blame city officials for the failure of an art gallery strikes me as a reach. The city has no control or say over the content of an art gallery.

In the interest of fairness and civility as the moderator stated, could we please get rid of Roy Warden's postings. He has nothing to say that we haven't heard from him before, he cares little about any facts and populates all comment sections with the same lengthy ravings. Let's moderate and give the people who can post and discuss in a more realistic manner a chance without constantly having to maneuver around the rantings of somebody who needs medical help urgently.
