Events at the Western National Parks Association Store

A show and sale of Mata Ortiz pottery, Oaxacan carvings and Zapotec rugs takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Oct. 7 and 8. Kittie Williams and Stevie Mack discuss and sign their new book, Day of the Dead. at noon and 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 12. The documentary film Mt. Rushmore-Crazy Horse and the Black Hills is shown at noon and 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 15. Free. Reservations are required for the book-signing and the film. Call for reservations during store hours from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday; and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday. Messages are not accepted as reservations.
