Events at Saguaro National Park East

Ranger Jeff Wallner gives a photo tour in the Visitors' Center titled "Arizona's National Treasures" at 3 p.m., every Saturday in July. Ranger Jeff Wallner presents "Yesterday, Today and Saguaro" at 3 p.m., every Sunday in July. Herpetologist Bob Brandner presents "Venomous Reptiles of Saguaro National Park" at 7 p.m., Wednesday, July 8. A two-hour walk through the desert at night takes place at 7 p.m., Friday, July 10, 17 and 31. Reservations required. A buffelgrass weed pull takes place from 6 to 10 a.m., Saturday, July 11. Reservations are recommended. An auto tour of the Cactus Forest Loop Drive takes place at 10 a.m., Saturday and Sunday, July 18 and 19. Events are free with park use fee: $10 per vehicle; $5 for bicyclists and pedestrians. Call for reservations or more information.
