Indeed, being female my body wasn't made to run, jump, climb, build, fight, work or dance. Nope! It was made for the pleasure and approval of others. Unbelievable foolishness!
So, a woman's love of her body is based on whether she can incite lust and gest attention and approval from other? That is not empowerment or feminism. That is Uncle Tom-ing for the patriarchy. And so typical of Tucson's provincial and atavistic gender norms. Keep working on your journey, you may eventually learn to love yourself.
