Re: “Better Late Than Never: 1968 Film Makes World Premiere

I am so glad you rescued that film, Jere! Someone from Vermont Academy sent this article to my father; yesterday when I was visiting my parents he told me about the article and I told him that I remember the summer vividly but the only person whose name I remember was "a guy named 'Jerry' Michaels". You can imagine his surprise! I grew up at Vermont Academy where my father was the headmaster from 1964 to 1977. I was 14 the summer of 1968. Vermont Academy was an all boys prep school at that time with no opportunity for girls. Jere introduced me to modern dance, and told my mother that "your daughter has a big talent." I went on to dance through high school and college, and am dancing still! I can't wait to see the film when it is shown back east! Thank you, Jere!
