Here are two bits of news that you—as an eating, drinking, politically savvy Tucsonan—really need to know:
1. We have a Happy Hours Guide! We have partnered with GoTime.com to launch THE definitive Tucson Happy-Hour Guide—on the Web (happyhours.tucsonweekly.com), on mobile Web (hh.tucsonweekly.com) and as apps for the iPhone, Android and Blackberry. The Tucson Happy-Hour Guide has up-to-date listings of happy-hour offerings from bars, clubs and restaurants across town. As of this writing, 168 happy hours are listed—with more being added on a constant basis.
More good news: The Tucson Happy-Hour Guide apps and sites don't only work in Tucson; they also work in 50 other cities. GoTime.com's database currently includes more than 25,000 happy hours across the United States.
So ... go, eat, drink, find great deals, be happy. Get thee to happyhours.tucsonweekly.com or hh.tucsonweekly.com to check out the guide and/or download the apps.
2. We have election-night coverage! Due to pesky press deadlines, next week's print issue won't have election results from the Aug. 24 primary.
But never fear; politics junkies: The Range, our daily dispatch, will be chock-full of election results, news, reaction and analysis on Election Night and beyond, from Jim Nintzel, Mari Herreras, Nick Smith and the rest of our stunningly talented staff.
You can find it all at daily.tucsonweekly.com.
