Dog Days of Summer
Bring your dog to a plaza-wide event benefiting the Humane Society of Southern Arizona, from 5 to 9 p.m., Friday, Aug. 2; free. Dog caricatures are $5. A doggy fashion show at 7 p.m. features designs by students at the Art Institute of Tucson. Prizes are awarded in a raffle among those who complete a "pawsport" by visiting participating merchants. Jane Hamilton Fine Art features whimsical acrylic paintings of dogs and tuquoise doggy collars.
