Dine for a Cause

Support a local eatery and a local cause. On Tuesday, May 19, from 6 to 9 p.m., La Cocina Restaurant and Cantina, 201 N. Court Ave., will donate a portion of their food and drink sales to PowerSource Tucson, a nonprofit corporation dedicated to "offer[ing] empowerment and enrichment experiences to women in the Tucson area who are living with HIV/AIDS." Some of the organization's goals are to organize participants for prevention outreach to other women and to provide educational and work opportunities for participants. Show your support while eating well and feeling well. More information is available on the event's Facebook page.
