Hotel Congress and the Historic Train Depot host a look back at 1934 with re-enactments of the Dillinger gang's exploits in Tucson and guided tours of the historic Hotel Congress, Friday and Saturday, Jan. 18 and 19. The Dillinger Speakeasy starts with a quick-draw show and features tastings of premium whiskeys; $20 includes a chili bar. A performance of Depression-era tunes by Catherine Byrnes, gypsy music by Chris Black, and Appalachian party songs played on vintage instruments. A free family event from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 19, includes a vintage car show, a carnival, live music and guided tours.
