Desert Bluegrass Festival
Blue Highway, the Kickin' Grass Band, Steve Smith and Hard Road, Whistle Stop, Copper River and the Titan Valley Warheads are among bands performing, and a Band contest featuring $1,000 in prize money takes place, from Friday through Sunday, Oct. 28 through 30; $15 to $30, free Friday.
