The Arid Abundance Community Potluck is Thursday, May 19, 5:30 p.m., at the Native Seeds/SEARCH Conservation Center, 3584 E. River Rd. Learn about local, wild-crafted, and nourishing desert foods. It is a potluck event, so bring a dish prepared with the featured food of the month (mesquite), or any other local/seasonal/other food that you would like. This month mesquite gatherers with share about their experiences in harvest and preparation with this seasonal food. For more info, go to the Facebook event page.
