I am the 99%. I had a 27 year career as an engineer, went back to school, finished in 2009, and have not worked a regular job since. I have a wife, kids in college (fortunately, they are intelligent enough to get scholarships, like me), a home, two cars, although one is beyond repair with my limited funds. We are living on my wife's unemployment, mine expired. I look for work everyday. I do not need a bath, I am not a bum.
The angry, nasty negative comments only reflect on the lack of compassion shown to some very hurt people who have spent time in a system that does not recognize their value.
